Of course, I'd much rather watch the pageant while sitting in my living room in my recliner or sofa, but because of other commitments I don't always get to do this. Don't despair. Oftentimes, I have to miss my favorite TV shows because of work, and I don't think work is very good reason to miss something on TV. So, I started looking for ways to watch the Miss USA pageant online. This TV event just happened to be the first event that I didn't want to miss last year when I started my research.
The options I found were pretty limited. Many of these online TV viewing options, such as youtube.com, will show you a replay or highlights the day after the event. That is not really what I was looking for because I wanted to watch it live while it was in progress. There are also some options that require a monthly or annual fee to receive the service. I already overpay for cable, so this did not interest me either.
Luckily, I stumbled upon an amazing software that downloaded on my computer that is like a "TV to PC" program. That has been the best thing I have found thus far, and it works great for watching any show you would see on TV, plus you get sports, movies, news, and a lot more. In fact, you get over 3000 channels.

To watch the Miss USA pageant online you need two things:
1. A cable or DSL Internet connection to your computer.
2. A software program that allows you to watch TV online
Fortunately, there are no recurring or hidden fees with this software. I have actually thought about cancelling my cable subscription to save some money.
